NOT A DECORATIVE OBJECT

Even though after decades of having aquvarium ,we are still having fasciation for fish.Like a small boy when ever possible i will go and gaze at the fish.What now i feel is people are treating fish as an object not as a living thing.please note not all.They set the tank according to their own will and pleasure not to the fish requirement.The water will be crystal clear  and the tank will have marbles ,plastics ,rubber etc.The water should not be very clear,The tank must have natural rocks(this also to suit the fish),live plants etc.We must know what the fish likes not what we like.We like burger but the fish like the worm.
My message is we must give the fish what it wanted and the tank should not be like a piece of art.

The embedded video you saw  about the beautiful aquarium transcends.This is not something impossible,this is certainly possible if we wanted and give some attention.
In the bible it was told that even if a man looks at a woman with bad intention he has done adultery already.It is very true .There should not be any defect  in certain thing and requires zero defect.This implies to aquarium maintenance also.I am going to give a quiz and the range from 1 to 10. for each question.In the question marked * you must score 8 and less than that you fail in the quiz. SWEET FISH

By natural instrint human  beings have an affinity for fish.From children to grown ups,they want to view,touch and catch.They want to live and have them by their side, Due to this may be aquarium have developed.Every body want to catch and play.I have posted a you tube video in which a lady has the imagination and fun to catch a fish.

When you go out on a vacation.

It is a problem for a pet owner when he wants to go for a vacation.we have to be very careful and think ahead.When we are going on vacation we are giving the responsibility to our family member,neighbour or to a friend.We must be sure whether they are having interest ,capacity and responsibility to do the job.You must tell them how much to feed,how many times to feed and how to put the filter system.If you are going on a longer time how to maintain the tank.If the population of the fish according the volume of the tank we can leave the fish for a few days.Filter system is very important if they forget to put on ,it will end in disaster.

What we can do.

1)We can leave our pets in charge of a person who do the job.
2)We can leave the pets in a reputed aquarium who can take care.
3)We can leave to a friend who is having a aquarium and take care.

GOLD FISH

1. About the fish:

In the video the fish you saw are my pets.The tank you saw in the video only for the video session not a permanent place.Gold Fish is the most beautiful,liked by all,hardy,easy to keep fish.Its scientific name Carassius auratus.Gold fish was first developed in eastern asia.It came from yellow,pink carp.The gold fish which we are having came from centuries of hard work by our fore fathers.It came by mutation and by selective breeding to varies colours,tails,eyes etc.








Character:








Gold fish is a good fish means ,it won't fight with other fish,very hardy but not the hybrids.The character of fish depends from where they bred.It will also consume lot of oxygen so when calculating the size of the tank,you have to provide 45 liters of watter per fish.The gold fish can recognise the owner so he must have eye contact and even talk to them.We cannot have all kinds of gold fish in one tank,particularly the hybrids.Since it is domesticated it can live only with us.







Feeding:







This is a omnivorous,so it can eat all kinds of food .We have to serious note that live food will not only infect the fish but also will bring parasites.I prefer good quality flouting pellet from good source.Sinking food will get into gaps and spoil the water.Gold fish will go on eating and die so you must the feed what it eats in the morning for five minutes ,is the food requirement. If you are having time and don't forget you can divide it for two meals,this will make the fish stay active.if you are having many kinds of fish you have to watch because fast type will eat all the food.You can cut the fish meat into small pieces which the fish can eat,wash it and feed them













Caring:






Once we set our aquarium,a big responsibility falls on us.As we take care of our babies,the fish is also like a baby and it is our duty to take care of them.Gold fish consumes more oxygen so in the beginning it self we must provide space(each fish big or small 45 litres per fish)Gold fish can grow upto 10 inches and more.We have to observe closely for colour variation,movement variation,parasites,blisters etc.Do not keep varies types of gold fish in the same tank.gold fish is a cold water fish so must avoid hi.gh temperatures.In office or at home you should not switch off ac or heater suddenly because it will give thermal shock which can lead to sickness or even death.It is better to keep gold fish seperately. Its colour will change according to its environment.So the stones and other items can be same colour of the fish.
